Mobile Communications - Lenovo Announces 3G Prototypes

Lenovo has recently stated that it has developed two TD-SCDMA prototypes. One of the models will be aimed at the high-end segment, and adopts solutions from Commit. The other, which adopts a Spreadtrum solution, will target the entry-level space. Model number or pricing details have not been released. Lenovo is the third Chinese maker to build a 3G handset prototype, following Datang and Amoi.
